THE YO-YO
Before the release of the TOPYO Top Steel, full-sized stainless steel yo-yos were unheard of. We thought it would be a fun challenge to take the popular organic Bowl shape and make it out of stainless steel… the metal weapons are crafted from!
We were incredibly happy with the result - a very floaty and slightly undersized yo-yo, measuring 50mm in diameter, 42mm in width, and weighing 61g. This yo-yo boasts everything you love about the Bowl series, with a subtle central bump to giving it weight in the right spot.
A great collateral attribute that has become a sort of signature is the unique high pitched ring when this stainless steel EDC spins! We also threw in a titanium axle for the highest strength to weight ratio.
The Bowl Mini has the thinnest rims ever produced on a stainless steel yo-yo. It’s paper-thin rims measure 0.5mm and gives the yo-yo a very distinct feel in the hand.

The cover star of the box is the son of RSO’s founder, Isaac. He was born on 21 February 2019 with a birth weight of 3.146kg. This design's inspiration would serve as a snapshot of him in time – hence it’s bath time on a box! Other baby elements can be seen incorporated into the artwork, such as the milk bottle as yo-yo lubricant. We even threw in yo-yo bearing wheels on the Little Tikes car and a crib mobile crafted out of yo-yo parts.
