The Popsicle Edition takes the full proportions of the Bowl XL and melts away precisely 3g.
Its 66mm diameter and 51.5mm width remain unchanged, but its weight falls from 64.7g to 61.7g. A 10mm axle replaces the 8mm axle of the original release.
Unlike the original Bowl XL, the Popsicle Edition is served in five colourful flavours.
Its weight is almost identical to that of the Atmos Projects Pomelo, yet its character remains unmistakably Bowl. The broad organic profile retains the buoyant, unhurried movement of the series, now with an even lighter presence on the string.
The Popsicle Edition emerged from a production setback. A substantial number of B-grades resulted from the original Bowl XL run. To compensate RSO for the loss, the machinist produced this small batch of 30 yo-yos.
Twenty were sent as thank-you gifts to supporters who had purchased a raw Mecha-Bapezilla Side Effects Edition. The remaining ten were sold directly through the RSO store.
